Your feedback for Bob Dylan
Blood On The Tracks (Columbia, 1975)
I think Blonde On Blonde was the first album I tried, and I found it to be pretty difficult listening. Bad singing, abrasive harmonica, overly long songs, etc. It turns out you can have too much of a good thing. Not many people have heard of this one, and rightly so. Fallen Angels beats Triplicate only by being less tediously long. Bob Dylan singing Christmas songs just seems wrong. People generally assumed that this album of hymns, carols, and popular festive songs was ironic, but Dylan insisted otherwise.

While it's been an occasional bumpy road for the singer-songwriter, he still managed to influence generations of artists and revolutionize the sound of music — from folk to rock to even gospel — along the way. For five decades, Dylan has transformed popular music, rode the waves and filtered it all back again. And, along with a select few contemporaries like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones , he's made some of the most essential-listening records in rock history. Home News. Filed Under: Bob Dylan.
